The analysers work on the principle of semiconductor, electrochemical and infrared sensors. Analysers of the first two types constitute the ASIN production range, the infrared ones are designated with AIR. All of them have the same gas inlet and its basic treatment - separation of condensate and dust particles. The values measured are normally supplied to a one- or multi-line display and, if necessary, they are simultaneously transferred by a current loop 4-20 mA or serial line RS 232/485. The microprocessor controlled analysers are equipped with a number of functions, which improve the user’s comfort. Selection of concentration units is conventional, as is the storage of values measured at optional intervals for an adjustable period of time and the option to transfer the results via a serial line RS 485. Software for statistical and graphical processing of the whole measurement on PC and for on-line continuous graphic displaying of the measured values is part of the delivery. Modern technique positively affects the size of the analysers. Due to minimisation of the infrared sensors and the entire infrared system, too, the size and mass of the devices are significantly smaller when compared to classical devices. The untraditional design exploiting modern detection elements allows production costs to be decreased and leads to suitable prices and small sizes of the devices while maintaining the high user’s comfort and low maintenance and calibration costs. Besides the standard types mentioned below , we also offer special analysers designed and manufactured to suit the customer’s individual needs .
Analysers of the ASIN series are used for monitoring low concentrations of gases and vapours in the range of tens to thousands of ppm. Their simple design renders them cost effective and not demanding as for maintenance. They use semiconductor or electrochemical sensors for detection. The former have longer lives and lower selectivity, while the latter are selective, but their lives are limited to 2 years on average. A number of the ASIN analysers are used, e.g., to monitor combustion processes, to check and control volatile organic compounds (VOC) disposal processes, and to measure emissions from combustion processes, using special software to process results.
Infrared analysers of the A.I.R. series operate on the advanced principle of semiconductor detection of infrared radiation and their software eliminates interfering effects of particular components in the mixture measured. Software for PC statistical and graphic processing of the entire measurement and software for on-line operation are part of the delivery. Due to the new technology used, the size and mass of the analysers are notably smaller compared to standard devices. The AIR analysers find universal applications in industrial measurement of concentrations of different substances and special applications such as measurement of biogas composition, flue-gas emissions, control of combustion processes etc.
As a very useful auxiliary equipment the gas treatment unit AIR GTU is delivered which decreases the dew point of the gas measured to +5°C and removes the dust particles.
